Eddie Marshall, Musicial, Composer and Teacher of Jazz Music
As a leading figure in the evolution of San Francisco's contemporary jazz sound, Eddie's played drums with nearly every major name in the business. He co-founded The Fourth Way and produced two solo albums of original music (including Holy Mischief).
Well known as a drummer and composer, Marshall also plays alto and soprano recorders in a variety of jazz ensemble settings. He has received two grants from Chamber Music America's New Works and Encore programs. His commissioned piece "Dreams That Dance" premiered at the San Francisco Jazz Festival in 2004.
